Hi, my name is Varun and I am interested in object detection and image/scene understanding with applications in intelligent agents and manipulation. I am trying to think of internet-scale data driven techniques that can be used to provide near real-time tools for real-world problems. ReplyDeleteHi I'm Carl Saldanha. I'm interested in working with the VQA data set. My ideas include maybe trying to produce similar questions, but with novel images. ReplyDeleteI'm Sam. I just took Jacob Eisenstein's NLP class. I'm interested in image captioning. I want to use the saliency model we discussed in class (or some other model) to justify object importance in image captioning. I want to use an N-Gram approach, which has been done in prior work. I also want to use a part of speech language model to justify sentence structure. I'm not sure what has been done before in that realm. If you're interested let me know! seifes1@gmail.com
